The 1st amendment
The first amendment states that people have the freedoms concerning religion, expression, assembly, and their right to petition against controversial topics.
2nd amendment
The 2nd amendment gives the people the right to bear arms.
3rd amendment
The 3rd amendment gives people the right to refuse to quarter troops in times of peace and war.
4th amendment
The 4th amendment protects the people from unreasonable searches and seizures.
5th amendment
The 5th amendment protects us from being forced to commit any crime or confess. This amendment contains the Miranda Rights that tells us that we have the right to remain silent.
6th amendment
The 6th amendment provides the right to a speedy, public trial.
7th amendment
The 7th amendment provides us the right to be tried by a jury when accused of a crime.
